According to police, a video that appears to show Ford puffing on a crack pipe was filmed last February. Ford has said he smoked crack 'probably a year ago' in a 'drunken stupor.'
Ford has barely been out of the headlines with a stream of allegations about his excessive behavior typically followed by gaffe-prone press conferences in which he steadfastly refuses to consider stepping down
Ford has been torn apart by the media since he admitted smoking crack-cocaine and made a series of lewd comments, amid allegations of drink-driving and that he sexually harassed a female colleague
Blunders: The shamed politician has barely been out of the headlines and was even filmed knocking over a city councilor during a debate on whether he should be stripped of his powers
The video, entitled VanFord is the work of New York-based special effects firm Artjail.
'We were completely in awe of the Volvo Van Damme Epic Splits spot,' the company writes on their website. 'And remain completely in awe of Mayor Ford's Epic lifestyle north of the border.'
Martial arts movie star Van Damme, 53, showed he is as supple as ever in the original advert when he performed his trademark splits in the new advertisement.
The commercial starts with a close up of the actor talking directly to the camera while standing in a more upright position between the moving vehicles.
'I've had my ups and downs,' he says. 'My fair share of bumpy roads and heavy winds. That's what made me what I am today.
'Now I stand here before you. What you see is a body crafted to perfection. A pair of legs engineered to defy the laws of physics and a mindset to master the most epic of splits.'

No trickery here: Volvo confirmed that the stunt was genuine with no computer trickery involved aside from the digital removal of some safety equipment

However, the star suffered a string of flops inn the early 2000s before making his movie comeback with the critically acclaimed JCVD in 2008 which he plays a fictionalised version of himself.
He also appeared as the main villain alongside Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger in last year's hit The Expendables Two.
His next action thriller film Enemies Closer, is set for release in the U.S. next month.
