A shocking and stomach-turning surveillance video shot inside a Pizza Hut eatery in rural West Virginia has captured a manager urinating in a sink used to wash cooking utensils.
Local media reported this week that the Mingo County health department ordered the fast-food restaurant in Kermit, about 85 miles southwest of Charleston, to shut down.
Pizza Hut Corp. released a statement saying it was 'embarrassed' by the district manager's actions. The company says it has 'zero tolerance' for violations of its operating standards.

The employee in question has since been fired. His name is not being released.
The 35-second video shot a couple of weeks ago shows the man calmly walking up to a deep sink in the kitchen, unzipping his jeans and relieving himself.

Once he is done, the manager zips up, runs the faucet for just a few seconds and resumes his work on a computer set up opposite the sink without ever washing his hands.
The CCTV camera inside the kitchen caught a glimpse of the manager's face, showing a man with a mustache and goatee.
Pizza Hut says the incident occurred after business hours.

City health official Brett Vance says the restaurant will remain shuttered until it is thoroughly cleaned and there are reassurances of safeguards in place, which could take up to several weeks.
Some patrons of the eatery were horrified to watch the revolting video and vowed never to dine there again, the station WOWK reported.
